There are no religious or upper
age requirements for adoptive families, and
single women are welcome. |
Currently, we work with a
well-established orphanage. Both girls and boys
are available; however, there are usually more
boys than girls. The age, sex and number of
children can be specified. The children
available are infants (majority) to teenagers. |
Adoption Blessings Worldwide has
beautiful children available in Haiti, and the
adoption process in this country is relatively
smooth. The average processing time is nine to
ten months from the time your paperwork is
registered in IBESR. The paperwork is standard,
with the only exception being a short letter
from a licensed counselor, psychologist or
psychiatrist attesting to your good mental
health. While you are waiting for your adoption
to be completed, you may send gifts to your
child with one of our traveling escorts or you
may visit your child yourself! Both of these
options seem to help our waiting families feel
that their adoption process is moving more
quickly! |
Haiti is a wonderful country to
adopt from, and it is so close! Escort service
is available and recommended. However, if you
decide to travel there to pick up your child,
you only fly a few hours out of Miami and the
cost is reasonable. |
